In one of the most shocking and brutal finales in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test history, the season 4 selection has come to a dramatic end — and only two recruits fought their way to the finish line.

After a deadly-serious simulated capture, 12 straight hours of interrogation, and a horrifying live-burial challenge, Real Housewives daughter Gia Giudice (24) and Olympic icon Shawn Johnson East (33) were the only contestants officially selected, leaving fans stunned and social media on fire.

The final five — Kody Brown, Brianna LaPaglia, Andrew East, Shawn Johnson East, and Gia Giudice — entered the finale exhausted, filthy, sleep-deprived, and mentally shattered. But by the end, only two remained standing.

💥 Kody broke. Andrew failed. Brianna dug herself out.
But Shawn and Gia earned the final salute — and the title of Season 4’s toughest recruits.

Gia admitted the moment “didn’t feel real” until she watched it back:
“I did it… I actually made it past the finish line.”

Shawn called the ending a “lifeline” that made the agony worth it — but said the others had it far worse:
“They went through all the torture and didn’t get the reward. That’s brutal.”

Shawn also described the heartbreaking moment she reunited with her husband and fellow contestant Andrew East:
“He was so happy for me… but I saw the sadness in him too.”

Meanwhile, Gia revealed their interrogation stretched from midnight to 5 p.m.
A staggering 17 hours of psychological punishment.

But in the end, the two women proved unbreakable.

Gia walked away with new perspective:
“Life is bigger than the small things. There’s so much more to value.”

Shawn walked away with pride — and two little kids cheering,
“Mommy, show us the army show!”

Season 4 of Special Forces has officially delivered its most brutal and emotional ending yet — and fans are calling it “the most intense finale in reality TV this year.”
