In a shocking twist sure to shake up both coasts of the Bravo universe, Teresa Giudice has confirmed that she’s officially left New Jersey — and found a new home in the Sunshine State. The longtime
Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed that she has moved to Florida and will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami for its upcoming season.
“I’m excited for this new chapter,” Teresa shared in an exclusive statement. “Florida feels like a fresh start for me and my family, and I’ve always loved the energy of
RHOM. It’s glamorous, spicy, and just the change I needed.”
A Fresh Start in the Sunshine State
After more than a decade as the face of RHONJ, Teresa’s move marks the end of an era for the New Jersey franchise. Sources close to production say that
Teresa and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, have been spending increasing time in Florida over the past year before deciding to make the move permanent.
“This wasn’t a decision she made lightly,” a source tells
Us Weekly. “But with the drama in Jersey reaching a boiling point and the show currently on hiatus, Teresa felt it was the right time to relocate — for her peace, family, and business.”

Joining the RHOM Cast
Teresa is expected to join The Real Housewives of Miami as a full-time Housewife, though Bravo has yet to officially announce the season’s full cast lineup. Insiders say she’s already begun filming scenes with RHOM stars
Larsa Pippen, Dr. Nicole Martin, Alexia Nepola, and Guerdy Abraira, and her presence is “already shaking things up.”
“She’s bringing that classic Teresa fire to Miami,” a production insider teased. “She’s not backing down from anyone.”
What This Means for RHONJ
With RHONJ on an indefinite hiatus following a tumultuous Season 14, producers are reportedly re-evaluating the show’s direction — and Teresa’s exit could pave the way for a major cast reboot.
At BravoCon 2025, Teresa hinted at being open to new possibilities, telling fans, “When one door closes, another opens. I’m just following what feels right.”
Her departure also adds weight to her previous comments about wanting to move on from the long-running feud with her brother
Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, who also confirmed they would not return if Teresa remained on the cast.
Fans React to the Shocking Move
Bravo fans are already buzzing online with mixed reactions. While some are excited to see Teresa bring her iconic table-flipping energy to Miami, others are sad to see her leave New Jersey — the franchise that made her a household name.
“Teresa is RHONJ. This is the end of an era,” one fan tweeted.
“RHOM just got a whole lot more interesting. Miami better be ready!” another wrote.
What’s Next for Teresa?
Aside from her new role on RHOM, Teresa is reportedly working on several business ventures in Florida, including expanding her haircare line and exploring real estate opportunities. She’s also teased a potential podcast and hinted at returning to writing with a new memoir in the works.
As for whether she’ll ever return to RHONJ, Teresa says she’s not closing the door completely — but for now, her focus is on her new tropical surroundings.
“I’ll always be a Jersey girl at heart,” she said. “But right now, I’m loving the Miami heat.”
