President Donald Trump finally got what he’s always wanted after Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado gave him her Nobel Peace Prize medal during a White House meeting on Thursday.
And Jimmy Kimmel thinks he knows what the president started doing with it the moment she left.
“You know he’s back in the Oval Office sucking on it like a pacifier right now,” he said.
Kimmel also noticed something in the image of Trump receiving the medal from Machado:
“Look at how happy he is,” Kimmel said. “Have you ever seen anyone happier than that for winning this prize he didn’t even win?”
Kimmel didn’t fault Machado’s strategy of trying to manipulate Trump with gifts.
“It’s the only way to get him to do anything,” he said, then made a special offer to Trump involving some of his own awards ― both real and imagined.
