At BravoCon 2025, fans got to officially meet the glamorous women of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” the franchise’s newest installment. A trailer for the first-ever season promises loads of drama for the seven new Housewives, and fans are just as excited as former RHONJ star Dolores Catania joins the ladies as a “friend of.”
In a new episode of the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast with Tamra Judge, Catania shared her take on the RHORI cast, including who she believes will be season one’s breakout star.
Dolores Catania Names Liz McGraw as RHORI’s Biggest Star for Season One
Dolores Catania appeared as a guest on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast, where they recapped their time at BravoCon 2025. One of the standout moments of the three-day Las Vegas event was the introduction of the cast of “The Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” a franchise Catania will appear as a “friend of.”
At the end of the Nov. 19 episode, Judge asked Catania who she believed would be the “breakout star” of the new season. Catania didn’t hesitate: “Liz McGraw,” she said. And no, her answer has nothing to do with the fact that she and McGraw look strikingly alike.
“Liz is the cannabis queen,” Catania shared when giving more background on her close friend. “She is the realist person you’ll ever meet. That’s who Liz is.”
Catania continued by sharing that she and McGraw shared a close bond in season one, “A very good friend to me. Somebody on the cast tried to say something that I absolutely did not say, because I don’t repeat things. Liz knows me, not my style …”
Who Is Liz McGraw?
According to SouthCoast Today, McGraw, whose first full name is Elizabeth, is married to Gerald McGraw, the CEO of The Slater Center, the first medical cannabis dispensary to open in Rhode Island in 2013.
Speaking to the outlet, McGraw shared that she developed a “passion” for cultivating medical marijuana after the couple had several family members “suffering from illnesses they thought could be aided by the plant.”
The company is now over 10 years strong, with the couple being hailed as the “King and Queen of Cannabis” in their home state.
In fact, McGraw’s Bravo bio reads: “Liz is Rhode Island royalty — the woman everyone wants to know, and the state’s very own Cannabis Queen. Alongside her husband, Gerry, she owns and operates The Slater Center, the largest and most successful cannabis dispensary in Rhode Island.”
Her bio also adds that she is a stepmom to three children, “balancing family, entrepreneurship, and her signature flair for style.”
In the trailer for the upcoming series, McGraw is described as “the dominant figurehead” of Rhode Island. In one scene, McGraw meets with Catania for lunch, but fans remain convinced they must be related, because their resemblance to each other is uncanny.
