Crockett erupts after Trump’s bizarre rant: ‘this is not normal presidential behavior’

Representative Jasmine Crockett Did Not Hold Back

Representative Jasmine Crockett unleashed a blistering response after President Donald Trump delivered what may go down as one of the most chaotic, delusional, and downright unsettling speeches of his presidency during a trip to Pennsylvania that was supposedly focused on the economy.

Known for her sharp political instincts and refusal to sugarcoat the truth, Crockett cut straight through what she described as Trump’s fog of lies, denial, and misogyny.

Trump had traveled to Pennsylvania to reassure voters that he had the economy under control — a nearly impossible task given that his tariff war with China has driven prices even higher, consumer frustration continues to boil over, and his approval ratings remain underwater.

Republicans, panicking ahead of a brutal election year, hoped he would finally steady the ship.

Instead, he set it on fire.

During a bizarre, rambling speech, Trump insisted that rising prices were “a hoax,” told Americans they “don’t need to buy so much stuff,” and then veered into grotesquely inappropriate comments about women — including his own Press Secretary.

Crockett, who has built a national following for her ability to slice through political nonsense with scalpel-sharp precision, quickly issued a statement that went viral.

“He’s been president for a year and has done NOTHING,” Crockett said. “And now he’s gaslighting Americans into believing their suffering is imaginary.”

She pointed out that Trump’s trade war — and his administration’s loyalty to corporate donors — are the very reasons prices have surged. For him to now call inflation concerns a “hoax,” she said, is not only insulting but dangerous.

“People are working two jobs just to afford groceries, and this man is onstage telling them it isn’t real,” Crockett said.

“It’s not just dishonest. It’s delusional.”

She tore into Trump’s justification that Americans should simply buy less — fewer pencils, fewer dolls, fewer basic goods altogether.

“Imagine being so wildly out of touch,” she said, “that your Christmas message to struggling families is: ‘Just buy your kids fewer gifts.’”

During his speech, Trump rambled:

“You can give up certain products. You can give up pencils… every child can get three pencils. They only need one… You don’t need three dolls for your daughter.”

Crockett didn’t hesitate:

“This is not normal presidential behavior. This is someone who has no grasp on the economy, on governing, or on the lives of everyday Americans.”

Misogyny on Full Display

But the comments that drew the strongest backlash from Crockett were Trump’s deeply inappropriate remarks about women.

At one point, he said his Press Secretary’s “lips were like a machine gun.”

Moments later, he singled out Senator McCormick’s wife, calling her “beautiful,” “into the social scene,” and bizarrely suggesting she would have left her husband if he lost.

Crockett slammed the remarks as “disgusting, objectifying, and completely unbecoming of a world leader.”

“Every time this man opens his mouth about women, we’re reminded exactly who he is,” she said.

“He cannot respect women because he doesn’t see them as equals — only as props.”

She emphasized that such rhetoric is not harmless; it reflects deeper problems in Trump’s leadership — problems that shape policy, culture, and the way power is used or abused.

A Presidency Built on Denial

Crockett also blasted Trump for attempting to rewrite economic history when he declared the Inflation Reduction Act a “hoax” and falsely claimed prices were “coming down very substantially.”

“Trump lies the way most people breathe,” she said.

“But the tragedy is that he lies about things that hurt people — healthcare, wages, prices, safety, democracy.”

To Crockett, the Pennsylvania speech was not an isolated gaffe, but a symptom of a presidency sinking deeper into chaos and instability.

“Republicans sent him out there to do damage control,” she said.

“What they got was a meltdown.”

She warned that the GOP’s refusal to confront Trump’s behavior has enabled the very disasters now threatening their campaigns.

“He is their monster,” she said. “They created him, they protected him, and now they’re terrified of him. Meanwhile, the American people are paying the price.”

‘Always More for Me, Less for Thee’

Crockett mocked Trump’s suggestion that everyday Americans should sacrifice pencils and dolls while he and his billionaire allies continue to live in excess.

“He wants families in Pennsylvania to give up pencils and toys,” she said, “while he flies around on gold-plated private jets and hands out tax breaks to his corporate friends.”

Then she added:

“I’ll believe he’s serious about sacrifice when the Trump family announces they’re skipping Christmas presents this year.”

Crockett’s Final Warning

In her closing remarks, Crockett didn’t hold back:

“What is wrong with this man? Truly — what is wrong with him?”

She urged Americans not to treat Trump’s outbursts as entertainment or political theatre, but as a genuine threat to stability, honesty, and basic decency.

“He’s not well,” Crockett said flatly.

“And America deserves better than a president who mocks their struggles and sexualizes women during an economic speech.”

Her message was unmistakable: If Trump cannot control himself, he cannot lead a nation.

As the fallout from Trump’s Pennsylvania debacle spreads, one thing is certain —

Jasmine Crockett once again said what millions are thinking but few in Washington are willing to say out loud.
