DOLLY PARTON BRINGS HER MAGIC BACK TO DOLLYWOOD FOR THE GRAND OPENING OF “THE DREAM GARDEN”
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee — It was a picture-perfect morning in the Smoky Mountains as country music legend Dolly Parton returned home to Dollywood to officially open the park’s newest and most enchanting attraction — The Dream Garden.
Radiating her signature warmth and charm, Dolly turned what could have been a simple ribbon-cutting into a heartfelt celebration filled with laughter, nostalgia, and — of course — music. Dressed in a floral pastel outfit that shimmered in the Tennessee sunlight, the Queen of Country welcomed fans, park visitors, and staff with her trademark sparkle and humor.
“I’ve always said Dollywood should be a place where dreams grow — and I think we just planted another one,” Dolly told the cheering crowd, her famous East Tennessee accent melting every heart in the plaza.

The Dream Garden, one of Dollywood’s most anticipated additions, is a vibrant, storybook-style animal and botanical park designed to celebrate nature, wonder, and the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Home to adorable alpacas, miniature goats, and white-tailed deer, the attraction blends scenic walking paths, colorful floral displays, and interactive animal encounters — offering visitors of all ages a place to relax, explore, and reconnect with the simpler joys of life.
As the ribbon fell, Dolly broke into an impromptu version of “My Tennessee Mountain Home,” her timeless ode to the Smokies. Her voice, warm and pure as ever, echoed through the garden — a reminder that Dollywood is more than a theme park; it’s a reflection of Dolly’s soul.

“This place means more to me than words can say,” she said. “I grew up surrounded by God’s beauty right here in these mountains — so when I see families smiling, kids feeding animals, and people just soaking in the peace of it all, that’s when I know we did something right.”
The event drew hundreds of fans, many traveling from across the country to see Dolly in person. Guests described the scene as “pure Dolly magic” — heartfelt, humble, and full of joy.
Dollywood officials say The Dream Garden is part of the park’s ongoing expansion to create experiences that combine entertainment, education, and natural beauty.
Before leaving, Dolly shared one last laugh with the crowd. “Now y’all behave yourselves in my garden,” she said with a wink. “And if you see the goats dancin’ to one of my songs, don’t be surprised — they’ve got good taste!”
With that, she waved, sang a few closing lines, and left fans smiling through happy tears — proving once again that wherever Dolly Parton goes, she brings more than music. She brings heart, hope, and a little bit of heaven in the Smokies.
