Justine Musk’s secret feelings about Grimes and Elon’s other kids’ mothers spark shocking revelations, igniting whispers of long-buried tension and unexpected truth.
For Elon Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson Musk, navigating co-parenting after their 2008 divorce has become more complicated because he has fathered numerous children with many different women since their split. So, how does she feel about it all?
In a bombshell interview with Teen Vogue, one of Elon’s oldest children, daughter Vivian, shared a rare insight into her mother’s relationship with her kids’ many half-siblings and their mothers. And, well, it seems there may not be a relationship at all.
“I don’t keep up with that side of the family because… I don’t,” 20-year-old Vivian shared. “My mom doesn’t really either. She’s divorced.”

Justine married Elon in 1991 after meeting at college in Canada and welcomed six children together across their 17 years of marriage. Son Nevada, who passed away at 10 weeks old in 2002, twins Vivian and Griffin were born in 2004 and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian were born in 2006.
Since then, Elon has welcomed at least eight other children — three with ex-girlfriend Grimes, four with Neuralink Director Shivon Zilis, and one with conservative author Ashley St. Clair. Vivian says she found out about most of her half-siblings through social media.
“I will say I do not actually know how many siblings I have, if you include half-siblings,” she says. “I found out about the Shivon Zilis thing [at] the same time everyone else did. I had no idea before that. I found out about Grimes having a second child because a drag queen posted about it on Reddit.”
Her mom, Justine, has been largely quiet since her split from the Tesla founder apart from an eye-opening essay in Marie Claire in which she opened up about the “warning signs” in their relationship that pointed to Elon’s narcissistic tendencies, including that he told her he was “the alpha in this relationship” at their wedding.
Elsewhere in her interview, Vivian opened up about her close relationship with her mother in comparison to her father who has vocally criticized her after she came out as trans in 2020. “She’s been supportive of the choices that I have made in college, about being public. She kind of was like, ‘Well, I can’t stop you, so whatever.’ Does it stress her out? Yes. But she’s ultimately fine with it,” she said.

Vivian revealed that she hasn’t spoken to Elon since 2020.
