From being a college football standout at Georgia to winning a Super Bowl as the Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly Stafford has witnessed the star’s rise. The couple are the proud parents of four kids (all daughters).

Yet, it has not been easy for the college sweethearts. During an April 2025 episode of Kelly’s “The Morning After” podcast, Matthew’s wife opened up about the challenges that come with being married.
“Marriage is (expletive) hard,” Kelly said at the time, per People.com. “Anyone who tells you differently is (expletive) lying through their teeth.
“… It becomes tougher and tougher with the more things thrown your way. (Marriage is about) communication and evolving with (your spouse). Fighting’s okay as long as you fight the right way and you can give that space for them to be vulnerable and not to judge (them).”
Whatever challenges have come the Stafford’s way, the couple has been able to overcome all of them, even with their marriage firmly in the spotlight given Matthew’s NFL stardom. Matthew and Kelly recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as the couple got married on April 4, 2015.
Here’s what you need to know about the Stafford family.

Kelly and the couple’s four daughters are regulars at Rams games. After the Rams topped the Carolina Panthers in the wild card round, Kelly took to Instagram to celebrate the big playoff win.
“1-0 in the second season,” Kelly noted in the January 12, Instagram post while sharing photos of the couple’s four children at the game.

The Rams star quarterback has the full support of his family. Ahead of the NFL playoffs, Kelly posted a heartfelt message about her favorite NFL signal-caller revealing that she was at every Rams game this season.
“Year 17 regular season is complete,” Kelly remarked in the January 7, Instagram message. “Never thought I would see the day I would go to every game and bring my daughters to 15 out of 17, but I’m so glad I did.

“What a season to witness in person. The passion for football it instilled in my daughters (now all of the them want to play QB on a girls flag football team) is so fun to see, but also for them to start to understand how hard work and dedication pays off,” Kelly continued.
“We all needed that lesson. Watching their dad fail, realizing it’s ok, and it’s how you respond to that failure that makes up who you are. Incredibly blessed to witness the man I love, with the girls I love, do the thing he loves most ❤️ Now onto the next, playoffs baby!”
Kelly now gets to root on the Rams for at least one more game as Los Angeles heads to Seattle for the NFC Championship. Win or lose, Matthew has plenty of support from his family, but a trip to San Francisco for Super Bowl 60 would be just a short trip from Los Angeles.
