The Indiana Fever might have some difficulty bringing back Sophie Cunningham for the 2026 season.
Cunningham had a nice 2025 season, averaging 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Although the salary cap has increased to $7 million, the Fever might not have a ton of money to spend on her.
Now that Mitchell is signed for 2026, the Fever could turn their attention over to Cunningham. Will they prioritize re-signing her though? Indiana fans aren’t so sure about that.
