SAD NEWS: A hero from the University of Nebraska has passed away at the age of 41 after being shot while on duty. He was a 15-year veteran of the University of Nebraska Police Department, a volunteer firefighter, a lifelong Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball fan, and a devoted husband and father.
